One of downtown Fort Wayne's museum's is set to close down this summer. The Lincoln museum on Berry Street will close it's doors for the last time on June 30th of 2008.

I remember goig there when I was in High School. I thought back then that we were Ft Wayne. Sorry to hear that it will be leaving.
I wrote a pair of letters to the mayor and the boss over at Lincoln Financial about the closing. I saw in the paper this morning that a committee has been formed to discuss the possibility of keeping the museum open past June. I imagine the community reaction has been pretty negative and hope these developments lead to some agreement that allow us to keep such an important part of downtown.
